Christopher Hancy

After short stints studying Law and Fine Arts in Australia,

Christopher moved to Belgium to study Fashion Design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.

Later, moving to Tokyo to further his studies in pattern cutting under Mr Yukio Kakita; bespoke tailor, teacher and former couturier at Christian Dior.

Christopher worked various jobs as an illustrator, pattern-maker and designer before starting BEAUGAN in April 2016.

Miko Okamura Hancy

Studied Contemporary Dance and Theater Arts at Waseda University in Japan.

Entered Amazon Japan as a wholesale buyer and marketing manager.

After working at Amazon for six years, Miko decided to leave the company and pursue development of a sustainable fashion brand.

After studying the short course at Central Saint Martins, Miko was accepted into the MA Fashion Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the London College of Fashion.

Recognizing a shared goal for sustainable practices in Fashion design, Miko returned to Japan to join BEAUGAN in 2017.
